Ok so the flock could be a slight (major) overstatement, but seriously, as you all know because you are them, I HAVE FOLLOWERS! WOOT! And not just two, but six! thats like a million more (obviously not! lol) than I was expecting! So thank you to all the followers, thank you for your words of encouragement and welcome to my Epic Story!
So to explain out it is that even though nobody knows I am gay, I have somehow managed to have three boyfriends. Simply put, they were just online pals. A long time ago in a computer chair which looks strangely like the one sitting in our garage I met this guy online. He was a year older than me and we both happen to be in the same area on Runescape at the same time. We did the whole "ASL" talk and eventually I was like, yeah so I am gay. Well to my surprise he was all "OMG! Me too, have a boyfriend?" And I of course said no and we officially were an item, that is until a month later or so when we lost touch and i sent him a text saying I was breaking up because he never texted me.
I met another guy online in a yahoo game of chess and the third was on teenspot.com. Needless to say that none of these were actually a real relationship in the sense that we could go on a date or kiss or anything else. But they were relationships online and there was talk during the last one of us meeting sometime but that faded away. So here I am, single, gay, closeted and living in a boring college town, the only child of two parents who don't do anything but work and workout.

ah haha well here I am to comment. Have you guys been bloggin a long time? It seems overwhelming how many followers some blogs have, like hundreds! Thats crazy insane!
ReplyDeleteSome of us have been around a while, others, less time. What you'll find is that yes, some blogs get lots of followers. They also get lots of mindless, useless comments. Others get a few followers...I have 45, and over time, most of them leave cool comments that mean something. Building followers takes time. The "porn" blogs tend to get more, but hey, who doesn't love porn?
ReplyDeletePersonally, I know each and every one of my followers, and read their blogs, and comment on them. They in turn, drive traffic to my blog, and those folks read, and sometimes leave comments.
The real fun here is to build relationships with folks. Those of us who follow cool blogs tend to also email and chat with the bloggers. Or we run convos in comments and recomments. It's all great fun, very supportive, and a bright spot in what tends to be lots of gay guys' lives.
Wow, this got long...sorry. Just hoping to draw you into the blogworld so you get the most out of it!

ReplyDeletebut your right, building followers does take time, but you shouldnt compare yourself to other bloggers, because blogger is a place for you to be YOURSELF, so why would you want to compare?! lol
I've been blogging for about 6 months, some are newwer and some are older :P
But yes, the moral of this rant: if you want loads of followers, use porn haha.
